Sitting at Beaners with a friend ... talking about temptation ... he shared something he heard that he's never forgotten ... "Bitterness is a poison you swallow ... and you expect the other guy to die." Bitterness ... we can be tempted to bitterness. Others are tempted to lust (I know that one). Or how about greed, or envy, or anger, or discontentedness ... It goes on and on and on ... doesn't it.
